Cancellation/ No Show Policy for Therapy Appointment
We understand that there are times when you may miss an appointment due to unforeseen emergencies or obligations. However, when we are not notified in a timely manner this may prevent us from scheduling another patient or may prevent the therapist from utilizing that time to perform other important tasks associated with their role as a therapist.
If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a thirty-five dollar ($35.00) fee; this will not be covered by your insurance company. Depending on the nature of the emergency office management may choose to waive fee.
We understand that delays can happen, however, if a patient is more than 20 minutes past their scheduled time we may have to reschedule the appointment for another day and time in the week. Patients are expected to notify our office in the event that they are running late so that we can strive to accommodate the appointment or inform patient that we will need to reschedule.
We require that patients with self-pay balances, pay their account balances to zero (0) prior to receiving further services by our practice.
Patients who have inquiries about their bills or who would like to inquire about a payment plan option may call and ask to speak with someone in office management. Patients with balances over $100.00 must make payment arrangements prior to future appointments being made.
